Considering that Murder on the Orient Express was initially presented in monaural, the remix does a fantastic job of dispersing the noise across the soundstage, without compelling the substance into the point that it seems artificial.
The film elements used for the transfer shows a couple more flaws than I'd have liked to seen with this thirty-year-old film, which leaves me needing a little more digital cleanup might have been applied to the move.
What's the impact of the violence that's not shown. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

At each turn of the page, the story keeps on arousing curiosity. The next morning, a snowdrift stops the train in its tracks, and Ratchett is found stabbed to death in his compartment.

All the other characters are both good and bad, and most are clearly hiding something. With a locomotive full of suspects and an alibi for each one, Murder on the Orient Express is the perfect mystery for detective Hercule Poirot.
